Khush Dorawala
Khush Dorawala is an Associate with the firm, working in the Education, Labor, Employment and Municipal practice groups, and bringing a multidisciplinary background in law, technology, and public service to her practice.
During law school, Khush served on the executive board of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA), where she helped foster student engagement, professional development, and community advocacy initiatives. She also participated in the Rutgers Community and Transactional Lawyering Clinic, where she worked on small business formation matters and guardianship cases, gaining hands-on experience in client counseling, legal drafting, and advocacy.
Khush further expanded her legal perspective through Rutgers’ Cuban Legal Studies course, which included travel to Havana during her final year of law school. There, she studied the Cuban legal system and explored comparative approaches to law, government, and justice.
In addition, Khush interned with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, where she strengthened her legal research, writing, and case analysis skills while gaining practical exposure to criminal prosecution and courtroom proceedings. Her experience further developed her interest in litigation, advocacy, and serving clients through thoughtful and detail-oriented legal representation.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School - Newark in May 2025, where she also earned a certification in Intellectual Property Law. She previously graduated from Rutgers University–New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology and Informatics and a minor in Criminology.
Khush has passed the New Jersey Bar Exam and is awaiting her swearing in.
